The Auto Charges and Payment Links tab gives innRoad Payments users a clear, reservation-level view of all scheduled charges and payment links related to a single booking.

This dashboard provides visibility into upcoming automated payments and links for a specific reservation, helping you take quick action when needed.
How to View the Auto Charges & Links Tab
- Open a reservation in your innRoad account.
- Select the Auto Charges & Links tab within the reservation view.

- You’ll see all related automatic charges and payment links listed for this reservation.
How to Use the Auto Charges & Links Tab
Each line item represents either an Automatic Charge or a Payment Link. This view helps you track scheduled payments, see completed and failed charges, and take action directly when follow-up is needed.
| Column | Description |

| Type | AutoCharge or Payment Link |
| Event Date | Date of the scheduled automatic charge or the creation date of the payment link |
| Trigger | Deposit policy clause for AutoCharges, or “Manual” for Payment Links |
| Reason | Deposit Policy name and clause number (AutoCharges) or the reason entered when the Payment Link was created |
| Amount | Total charge amount |
| Status | Indicates whether the charge or link is Scheduled, Successful, Failed, Recovered, etc. |
| Details | Shows additional link or recovery info (e.g. “Paid $250 on 10/22” or “Expired on 10/05”) |
| Actions | Contextual menu to send, copy, or cancel a Payment Link, or to cancel a scheduled AutoCharge |
Available Actions
You can take quick action from the three-dot action menu next to each row:
- Create Link – Generate a payment link for a scheduled or failed charge.
- Copy Link – Copy the payment link URL to share with the guest.
- Send Email – Send the Payment Link email template directly to the guest.
- Cancel Scheduled Charge – Cancel a scheduled automatic charge before it processes.

Understanding Statuses
Statuses help you quickly identify the state of each charge or link:
Auto Charge statuses:
- Scheduled - Charge will be attempted automatically on the scheduled date.
- Success - Charge was successfully processed.
- Failed - Charge attempt was unsuccessful; a payment link has been generated automatically if the reservation has an email on file.
- Recovered - A failed charge that was later paid via payment link or retry.
Payment Link Statuses:
- Pending - Guest hasn't paid the requested amount yet.
- Paid - Guest has paid the requested amount, and it was recorded in the folio.
- Expired - Guest hasn't made payment before the expiration date.
- Cancelled - A user from your innRoad account has cancelled the payment link manually.
Recovered Auto Charges are scheduled charges that initially failed, but were later completed via an automated payment link. This ensures the guest can still pay without staff intervention.
By managing Auto Charges and Payment Links directly from the reservation, you can monitor payment activity in context, take action faster, and reduce missed or failed payments.
