Authorizations made on innRoad Payments

When you process an authorization through innRoad Payments, the authorization expires after 30 days, at which point it is closed and no longer capturable.

Taking an authorization via EMV is not possible as the initial transaction – only once the card has been charged successfully can an authorization be processed. E.g. If the property charges the guest $20 via EMV at check-in, saving that as main payment method, they can then go to the folio and create a $100 authorization that will last for 30 days (or until captured or cancelled.)
