Same-day booking cut-off time

By default, your property on Booking.com is available for reservations any time of the day. This can cause last-minute same-day bookings, and those can be challenging to handle for a number of reasons. 

To limit same-day bookings after a certain time, set a minimum advance booking time in hours on Booking.com:

• Open your Booking.com Extranet
• Click on Rates & Availability
• Go to Calendar
• Use the bulk edit option next to a specific room class:
  
  
• A menu with settings will show up on the right-hand side.
  
• First, select the dates that this restriction applies to. For example, for the next year:
  
  
  You can also select specific days of the week to apply the restriction.
• Next, click on the Restrictions section to expand it.
  
  Note: this restriction can only be applied to 1 Room Class on Booking.com at a time.
  
• Next, select a Rate Plan to apply this restriction.
  
• You can also select multiple Rate Plans by using the Add More option. Select as many Rate Plans as you need.
  
  If there are Rate Plans without a restriction, this means the guest could book a room outside of the cut-off time for other rate plans.
  
• Select the minimum advance reservation restriction for each selected rate plan.
  
  
• Set a cut-off time by deducting the number of hours from midnight, followed by H. 
  
  For example, if you want to block same-day booking after 4:00 PM, enter 8H. (24-8H = 16:00 or 4:00PM)
• Specify the number of hours to act as the cut-off for every selected Rate Plan.
• Review and once ready, click on Save Changes.
  
• Repeat this process for every Room Class on the Calendar.
