Unassigned Reservations - OTA Bookings
3rd party sites such as Expedia, Booking.com, and AirBnB can only view the inventory for your property. They are unable to determine if a particular Room within the Room Class that is being booked is available for all nights.
For example, the screenshot below you will see that there are 3 reservations total; 2 assigned (Fred Astaire in Room 300 and Ginger Rogers in Room 302) and third listed as unassigned for 3 nights. The reason why that room has not been assigned is because although there is availability for the 3 nights, there is not a single Room available for the 3 nights consecutively.
To fix this, you will move some guests around to accommodate the reservation. Since these rooms are within the same Room Class it can be assumed they are very similar and you do have the ability to change some room assignments. In the screenshot below you will see that I moved Ginger Rogers from 302 to 300 with a simple Drag and drop move from the Tape Chart.
With that move I have created a space for the Unassigned Reservation. There are a variety of ways to put the Unassigned room into Room 302. You can click on the blue numbers. That will open the Unassigned reservation and you can change the Room Assignment there. Another Option is to Click on the Unassigned Box on the top right of the Tape Chart. See it over there - dark blue, under the dark blue "15 Days" box.
This will open a list of any Unassigned for that day and you can drag and drop them from here
After you Drag and Drop Tommy Tune into Room 302 there will be no more unassigned reservations.
