Sometimes, reservations are created as an Unassigned reservation. This means that the reservation is taking up availability of the room class, but not for a specific room number. This could happen when:
- An OTA reservation is created, but the same room is not available for the entire range of dates.
- A room was not assigned when creating the reservation.
- The booking engine is configured to create reservations without assigning rooms.

How to Assign a Room Number via Reservation Details:
- Open the Reservation
- Click the pencil icon next to Stay Info
- Select Assign room number
- Click the Room Number dropdown
- Assign the Room Number
- Room Statuses:
- C- Clean
- I - Inspection
- D - Dirty
- Room Statuses:
- Click Save to apply changes.
How to Assign a Room Number via the Tape Chart:
- Go to Tape Chart
- Click Unassigned to see a list of Unassigned reserations:
- You will see the reservation on the right panel with the room class abbreviation and Stay Dates:
- Click and hold the reservation, and drag it to the desired room.
- Click Confirm Changes to apply the new room.
