Airbnb's Policies and innRoad

innRoad has four available policy types: Deposit, Check In, No Show, and Cancellation. Please see below for some information regarding how these policies interact with Airbnb:

    1. Deposit Policy – Airbnb takes full payment prior to check in and will payout those funds to the host 24 hours after check in, therefore any Deposit Policy created within innRoad is not applicable
    2. Check In – Since the guest pays Airbnb in full prior to the stay, any Check In Policy created within innRoad is not applicable; Airbnb will pay the host 24 hours after check in
    3. No Show – Airbnb honors their cancellation policy in this case, see this article from Airbnb's Help Center for more information
    4. Cancellation Policy – there are two cancellation policy structures that innRoad connects to from Airbnb
      1. Flexible: 100% refund to the guest UNLESS they cancel within 24 hours of check in
      2. Moderate: 100% refund to the guest UNLESS they cancel within 5 days of check in

Please note the following regarding cancellation policies:

  • The cancellation policy is selected through innRoad if the client has synchronization category: Full
    • Setup > Room Classes > Click on the room class name > Scroll down to the Channel Specific tab for Airbnb

    • The cancellation policy determines Airbnb’s host booking fee
      • If the Airbnb Host Account existed PRIOR to June 4th, the fee structure may be different from the above
    • We are looking to connect with Airbnb’s Strict 14 With Grace Period Cancellation Policy in the future, but this is not yet available
