Airbnb and Tax Adjustments

Created by Alex Savchuk, Modified on Fri, Mar 15 at 6:57 PM by Alex Savchuk

Airbnb has made updates to allow you to “Add a tax” to a listing. This lets you collect all applicable taxes on Airbnb at the time of booking.

When all your taxes are configured on your Airbnb account, then the guest would not pay any additional taxes at the property.

There could be instances where Airbnb collects the tax and passes it on to you to remit to the government.

When this happens innRoad creates all the taxes for the reservation on the reservation account folio so that the payout for Airbnb matches it.

If you see a positive “Tax adjustment” in the Airbnb Account Folio, then this means that you need to add taxes to your listing on Airbnb.

Please click here to see how this can be setup.
