By default, Airbnb does not interface the guest emails to innRoad, as their preference is for all host-guest communication to occur via the Airbnb platform.
However, if you have documents you send through innRoad which you'd like to be able to send to guests, you will need to change this setting on the Airbnb side, so that the guest's email address will interface with their reservation, and you'll be able to communicate via innRoad's email settings.
To update this setting on Airbnb:
- Log into Airbnb https://www.airbnb.com/account-settings/professional-hosting
- Go to Account
- Professional hosting tools
- Toggle on the “Allow me to email documents to guests” setting
Note: Changing this setting will have no effect on any reservations which already interfaced without an email address. Only reservations created after the setting change will interface to innRoad with the guest's email in place. For all others, you'll need to message the guest via Airbnb's messaging module.
