Reservation Types
Through innRoad's integration with Airbnb, your listings are automatically set to Instant Book. However, there are certain circumstances in which reservations will interface instead as a Request to Book or Inquiry.
Instant Book
All of your listings by default are set to Instant Book. This is an automatic setting that cannot be changed if you intend to connect with Airbnb through innRoad.
This means that you are allowing the guest to book your property instantly. It is applicable on all available dates on your calendar. You will not have to manually approve every single reservation you receive.
Request to Book
You will receive a Request to Book for same day bookings or if a guest is searching for dates that may break one of your rules. This gives you the opportunity to approve or reject the reservation, as desired. You have 24 hours to respond before the request expires. If you approve the request, this will automatically sync into innRoad.
Inquiry
An Inquiry is a message from a guest asking about specific dates. Guests who send an inquiry are usually looking for more information before sending a reservation request. If you pre-approve the inquiry, this will not sync into innRoad until the guest accepts your pre-approval.
