If you'd like the status of a reservation to automatically change to Guaranteed (prior to check-in) after recording a payment, follow these steps:
- Go to the Setup Module
- Properties
- Options tab
- Tick the box 'If deposit is recorded automatically set reservation to Guaranteed"
- Publish to save your changes
Please note:
- If you have the "Require credit card for guarantee" setting enabled in Property > Options
- And you do not have a credit card save in the Payment Method section of the reservation
- When you record a payment, it will not save and you will see an error message:
- Go ahead and add a credit card as a payment method, then record another deposit or manually update the status of the reservation
