Automatically Change Status to Guaranteed

If you'd like the status of a reservation to automatically change to Guaranteed (prior to check-in) after recording a payment, follow these steps:

Go to the Setup Module
Properties
Options tab
Tick the box 'If deposit is recorded automatically set reservation to Guaranteed"
Publish to save your changes

If you have the "Require credit card for guarantee" setting enabled in Property > Options

And you do not have a credit card save in the Payment Method section of the reservation
When you record a payment, it will not save and you will see an error message:

Go ahead and add a credit card as a payment method, then record another deposit or manually update the status of the reservation
