A reservation within innRoad is the combination of several distinct components:
- The room a guest will be staying in
- The rate(s) a guest will be paying during their stay
- The date range of the guest's stay
- Guest name and contact information
When a reservation is created, it is automatically assigned one of the following statuses:
- On Hold
- Reserved
- Confirmed
- Guaranteed.
When a reservation is created, it is assigned a default status based on the Distribution settings for that source.
This status can also be manually updated after a reservation has been created, and each status can be set to trigger a different Document Template. All four statuses will block off the room and prevent it from being booked by anyone else.
After a reservation has been checked in, the status will change to In-House until it is checked out.
After a reservation has been checked out, it will be assigned a status of Departed.
If a guest cancels his/her reservation or does not show up to check in, the status of the reservation can be set to Cancelled or No Show by clicking on the arrow button to the right of the reservation status.
