Status of Reservations:
There are different reservation statuses in the system; however, the three primary statuses used while creating reservations are:
- Reserved
- Confirmed
- Guaranteed
You can use these statuses based on different scenarios. For example:
Based on payment status:
- Reserved – Guest has not made any payment
- Confirmed – Guest has made a partial payment
- Guaranteed – Guest has paid the full deposit
OR
Based on reservation source:
- Reserved – Reservations from Booking Engine or direct application
- Confirmed – Reservations from channels like Expedia and Booking.com
- Guaranteed – Reservations from channels like Airbnb and VRBO
Other Reservation Statuses
- Inhouse – Guests currently staying at the property
- Departed – Guests who have checked out
- On Hold – Reservations where the guest’s arrival is not yet confirmed
- Cancelled / No Show – Cancelled or no-show reservations (these will not appear on the Tape Chart)
You can view the different color legends directly on the Tape Chart, which help you quickly identify reservation statuses at a glance. Each color corresponds to a specific status, making it easier to track bookings, availability, and guest movement efficiently.

How to Update Reservation Status
You can update the reservation status using the dropdown selector located at the top right-hand corner of the reservation screen.
