In the Reports module you will see a Payments Dashboard.  This dashboard will provide information regarding all your charges. Once selected you will be taken to the innRoad Payment Dashboard, which defaults to the Payments Tab.

Payments Tab

Here you can find information about your most recent transactions.

NOTE : Always advisable to search with Guest Name in case of duplicate charge disputes.

  • Select a date range to view a specific date range
  • Search for a specific person or specific dates in the search section

You can search for a specific person or specific dates in the search section. This information will of course be on the Guests individual folio, but it is nice to be able to find it here as well.  If a guest cancelled you can search by the Guests Name or Reservation Number and it will show you the date/amount of the original charge as well as the date/amount the refund was issued.   This is especially helpful if one guest has multiple reservations.

Clicking on a line item will open the Payment Details view, containing the granular details around the transaction. None of this information is editable and populates automatically.

Chargebacks Tab

The Chargebacks tab is where users can manage their Chargebacks. In addition to listing out detailed information regarding each chargeback that the account has received, the users can submit evidence to a specific chargeback or accept a chargeback, directly from the dashboard.

Chargeback Rate: This is calculated using the following formula: Chargeback % = Total # of Chargebacks/Total # of Transactions. The total number of transactions does not include authorizations, canceled authorizations, chargeback fees, or chargebacks won.

Responding to a Chargeback: To respond to a chargeback, the status must be ‘Needs response’ and there must be a ‘Respond’ button available to the right of the chargeback.

To accept a chargeback, after clicking ‘Respond’ there is an option to accept the chargeback indicating that the client doesn’t wish to contest the chargeback. However, if the user wishes to contest the chargeback, they can select ‘Submit evidence’ and will be directed to a new page.

Submit Evidence: Depending on the ‘Reason’ of the chargeback, there will be a different form presented. The fields will be slightly different however each form will have guidance around what fields are required and the best practices.
