Max Adults & Max Persons Rate Settings

Rates: Max Adults & Max Persons

When creating a new rate, the Rate Attributes section allows you to enter in the number of people the Base Amount covers.

Max Adults = how many adults are covered in the base rate
Max Persons = how many adults plus children are covered in the base rate

In this example, $139 covers 2 adults OR 1 adult and one child

Here are some possible variations:

If Max Persons was changed to 3, then $139 would cover two adults and one child

If Max Adults was changed to 1, that would mean $139 is the rate for single occupancy

Note: Max Persons does NOT control how many people can make a reservation for the room class. When this rate is associated to a room class, the Max Persons for that room class will show you the number of people that can reserve the room.
