Rate Floor - the setting found in Rate Setup - is used to make a higher rate the “Best Available Rate” and bypass lower BAR/Rack Rates. In order for a Rate Floor to have the desirable result it is important to make sure:
- It is set for a specific season only
- There are no other Rate Floors for the same season
- That it is part of the same Rate Plan as the regular rate for the season.
To use the rate floor, select "yes" for the rate floor option under the Rate Attributes subheading in a new rate.
