This report shows the revenue from Resevations sales with regards to Room Charges, Incidentals & Fees for a desired date range.
Run this report to understand the performance of your property in terms of revenue, occupancy, and pricing strategy.
The net sales report also helps you understand the demographics of your customers and their buying patterns so that you can craft your marketing campaigns accordingly.
Note: The net sales report does NOT include revenue from the Account Master folios and only shows revenue from Reservations.
This report can be run for an individual property or all properties for a multi-property setup
What can I use the Net Sales Report for?

The net sales report has many uses, and the most common uses are below:
- Which OTA/Channels have the maximum sales of reservations.
- Which day of the week has the maximum sales.
- Top-selling room classes.
- Most attractive Rate Plans.
Navigation
- From the Main menu, Click on Reports
- Under Performance Reports, click on Net Sales
How to set up this report
Step 1: Select the date range from a list of predefined options or a custom date range

Step 2: Select the inputs for the summary section of the report based on the below options:
a) Group By options for the Summary and Detailed view of the report based on any of the below:
- Channel
- Corporate/Member Account
- Group
- Guest Profile Account
- Travel Agent
- Guest Country
- User Booked
- Consumption Date
- Booking Day
- Market Segment
- Promo Code
- Rate Plan
- Referral
- Room class
- Room number
- State
- Zip code
b) Sort Report By the specified options to see the summary accordingly
- Name
- Booking Nights %
- Total Revenue
- Cancel %
- Average Stay
- ADR
- RevPar
Below is an example of the report grouped by "Channel" and Sorted by "Total Revenue"

Step 3: Customize the detailed View as desired
This groups the Detailed section of the report based on options selected in the drop-down list

Example: If "Week" is selected from the drop-down, then each row in the detailed view represents the week of the year and displays the report data based on reservations staying that week. See example below:

Step 4: Select the "Advanced Inputs" for the report:

a) Booked on date range: Generates the report based on reservations booked on the date range. If you would like to include reservations from all time without any restrictions, then select "All"
b) Include Inactive/Obsolete Rooms: Includes the reservation information booked in rooms that are currently Inactive/Obsolete.
c) Exclude Periods with Zero Sales: When this option is "On", the report displays only the periods where sales have occurred, and the periods with "0" sales are not shown in the detailed view.
Report Output
The report separates data according to the date range's "Group By Option" in the columns below.
NET BOOKINGS: This is the total number of bookings for each "Group By" category for the date range specified.The net bookings are classified into the below:
- Net Reservations: This is the Total Reservations-Total Cancellations for that day
- Net Room Nights:
- Booking Nights %:
NET REVENUE:
