Can I use innRoad to manage my event space?
Yes, you will need to build your space as a "Room Class".  Keep in mind this will affect reporting.
 
What is the difference between innRoad and innCenter?
There is no difference.  innCenter refers to your innRoad source.
 
Where do I go to log in?
app.innroad.com
 
What's the difference between my client code and my username?
All users must use the same client code. Each username is different and assigned to specific users.
 
Can we customize colors on the Tape Chart?
You can customize colors by selecting a different status. However, we cannot create custom colors at this time.
 
Can I click into a reservation from the tape chart?
Yes, simply click on the guest name from the reservation block.
 
What's the difference between on hold, reserved, confirmed, guaranteed?
There is no difference besides the color assignment. It depends on how you want to define the statuses.
 
How far back can I search on the tape chart?
As far back as your first reservation made in innRoad.
 
How far in advance can you make a reservation?
As far in advance as your seasons are set up.  Go to Seasons (under Inventory) to manage your availability.
 
Where can I store the CVC code?
You can add a note to the reservation or enter the code in the Billing Notes field.
 
Can I input credit card information if I'm not connected to the payment gateway through innCenter?
Yes, the system will save the payment information.
 
How do I record a credit card payment without processing the credit card?
Hit the Pay button from the folio to open the Payment Details window.  Then click "Manual" button.  You will then notice the "Process" button changes to "Add".  Click Add, then continue.
 
What's the difference between a reservation and a quote?
A reservation removes the room from inventory, whereas a quote does not.
 
How can I turn a quote into a reservation?
Yes, open the quoted reservation and hit "Book".
 
Do quotes show on the tape chart?
No.
 
How do I add a new user?
Go to Admin, then Users.  Click New User at the bottom.  Enter the first, last name, login ID, and email.  Associate a role and property.  Hit Save.  The user will then receive an email to log in and create a password. The user has 24 hours from the moment they receive the email to create their password.
 
What does "Rate Floor" mean, and when should I use it?
Rate floor should be used if you have a date or dates within a season and the rates are higher.  Selecting rate floor within a rate, enables the system to select the higher rate by default when a reservation is made.
 
Where can I change my policies?
To change your internal policies, you can go to Inventory, then policies.  To change your guest facing policies, go to Setup, then Properties.  Click into your property and scroll down to the "policy" section.  Make your changes and hit "Publish".
 
Where can I change my taxes?
Go to Setup, then taxes.  Click into a tax item name to edit the value field.
 
Will the system send automatic emails to guests when they cancel reservations?
No,  unless you setup an automatic trigger for cancellations under Document Templates.
 
How can I track cash transactions?
You can use the Ledger Balances Report to track all cash transactions during a specific time period.
