Can I cancel a block reservation?

You can cancel a reservation that is part of the block without affecting the block inventory.

Cancelling a reservation that is part of the block is allowed and the inventory taken up by the reservation is returned to the block (provided the block is not in "Released" Status)

Steps to cancel a reservation that is part of a 2 night block:

See below a block created for 5 rooms for 2 nights. the block has a reservation that is picked up that needs to be cancelled.

1. Find reservations that are part of the block from the "Advanced Search" option on the dashboard.

2. Open the reservation that needs to be cancelled.

3. Cancel the reservation.

4. Observe that the block will be replenished with the inventory from the cancelled reservation.
