Internet Troubleshooting

innRoad is a cloud-based system, therefore a reliable internet connection is important to its operation. If you’re experiencing long load times, there are a few things you can try to stabilize and speed up your internet connection:

  1. Restart your router – If you’re connected via WiFi, try dropping the power cable from the router and then reconnecting. This should allow it to restart and reset, which can often resolve connection issues
  2. Switch to a wired connection – Hard wired internet connection via an Ethernet cable will always be more stable than a WiFi connection
  3. Limit connections – If there are multiple devices on the connected to your router via WiFi, your connection will slow
  4. Make sure you have a strong signal – Ideally, your computer will be as close to the router as possible
  5. Confirm the issue – Try accessing other webpages to confirm whether or not this is an issue with your WiFi connection. If it is, the problem will be present across all websites and all browsers
  6. Clear your cache and cookies -- This forces your computer to reload the page from the server, rather than the saved version stored in your browser, and can improve speed and functionality.
  7. Refresh your browser -- This can be done by clicking the CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on Windows, or Apple + R or command + shift + R on a Mac.

You’ll also want to make sure you’re running either Firefox or Chrome, as these are the most stable browsers for our platform. Ensuring that you have the latest version of your browser installed can also improve your speed.

If you’re still having trouble with load times after trying the above suggestions, feel free to call innRoad Support at 855- inn-Road.
