Task Management & Setup

Task lists can manage daily “actions” and be used to report to housekeeping, maintenance, or the front desk.

To use the Task List properly we need to (1) plan categories (default categories are provided, more can be added) and to (2) mark tasks as completed or differed at the end of each day. Tasks created in error or no longer needed should be deleted to maintain a clean and functional list.

You can set up automatic reoccurring tasks by going to setup > task management.

To add a new task category click the green  "New Category" button.

To set a task to automatically create when a reservation is checked in, set the "Auto Create" slider to on. To schedule a task on check out, select the checkbox in the "schedule on check out" column.

To set the frequency of the task, use the "frequency" drop down to select how often the task will occur.

To mark tasks as completed in the system after they have been created, go to guest services > task list to view your list of pending tasks
