Room Status

The Room Status screen will show the current condition of all rooms:

1. Vacant or Occupied
2. Where arrivals are due
3. Room Condition: Dirty, Clean, Inspection or Out of Order

Room Details

Hover your mouse over a room tile and click the “task(s)” box to view more details including:

• Room Class and Room Number
• Guest Name
• Count of Adults and Children
• Departure date for In house Guests
• Tasks for the Room and the Reservation in that room
• You can also update the room status from the Status drop down on this screen.

Update Room Status

The new Room Status screen provides 3 methods to quickly update the room status:

• Update Status in Room detail pop up(as seen above)
• Update status directly on the Room Status Screen, by hovering on tile and selecting the desired status from the status drop down.

• Bulk Update: Select multiple rooms and update their status in bulk, using the bulk “Update Status” drop down

Filtering

You can filter details to only see rooms in a specific condition by clicking on the applicable condition tile. (See #3) For example, you can choose the 'Dirty' tile to see only dirty rooms. You may also search for your preferences using the search bar.

Sorting

You may sort your list by room number, zone or arrival due. 

Enabling Inspection Status for Room Status page

To enable the Inspection setting on the Room Status page, please follow steps below:

• Click on Set Up
• Click on Task Management 

• Enable Inspection needed for all Full Cleaning tasks toggle 
• Action will save automatically

Inspection needed for all Full Cleaning tasks

• If set to“ON”
  • The Room Status will display a status filter for rooms in the “Inspection” status.
  • When a “Full Cleaning” task is completed
    • The task and associated room will be marked as “Inspection”.
    • Once the Inspection is completed, the task will be marked as “Done” the corresponding room will then be marked as “Clean”. (Note: In the current Housekeeping status page,“Inspected” is the last status of the room where as with the new room status screen, “Clean” is the final stage, after inspection has been completed.
• If set to “OFF”
  • The “Inspection” status is hidden.
  • When a “Full Cleaning”task is completed, the task will be marked as “Done”and the corresponding room will be immediately marked as “Clean”

Set rooms to dirty on check-in/check-out

• If set to “ON,” a room’s status is set to dirty when a guest Checks-in/Checks-out of the room.
• If this setting is set to “OFF”, a room’s status remains unchanged on Check-in/Check-out.
