3 Different Types of Batches: 

1. Direct Marketing: This includes all transactions that came from the booking engine and any keyed in transactions.

2. Hotel: This includes all transactions that are swiped and marked as card present. These are for the reservations where the client swipe and authorize the card on check in and charge the card upon check out.

3. Retail: This includes all other transactions within the system when the card is swiped and marked as card present. Some examples are swiping and charging a card in an account, or swiping and charging the reservation at check in.
