Connect the EMV Terminal to Wi-Fi

  1. Tap “CONNECT WIFI”.

  2. Tap the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.

  3. Enter the Wi-Fi network password.

  4. Tap “CONNECT” and confirm the network shows “Connected”.

Depending on how your Wi-Fi is set up, you may be done after these steps.

Tap the back arrow to check for any new updates. If updates are available, they will start automatically.

Still not connected?

If you are not connected after the steps above, follow the additional steps below.

  1. Tap the settings cog wheel icon next to the connected network.

  2. Scroll down and write down the “IP address”.

    In this example, it is 192.168.86.41.

  3. Tap the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

  1. Tap “Advanced options” and scroll down to “IP settings”.

  1. Change “IP settings” to “Static”.

  1. Enter the IP address you wrote down in the “IP address” field.

  1. Confirm the Gateway, DNS 1, and DNS 2 values match what your network administrator recommends.
    In this example:
    Gateway: 192.168.86.1
    DNS 1: 8.8.8.8
    DNS 2: 8.8.4.4

  1. Tap “SAVE” and confirm the network shows “Connected”.

  2. Tap the back button to start checking for updates again.
