Quotes

When a guest calls to inquire about availability but isn't sure about proceeding with the reservation, offer to make them a Quote. Without blocking your room availability, Quotes are way for you to save the guest details and search dates so when they call back to confirm the reservation, you can easily turn the Quote into a confirmed booking.

Here are the steps to create a Quote:
 

• Begin creating a new reservation. Instead of selecting Book Now, choose Save Quote

• This Quote will NOT take up the availability of the room for the days selected
• When you want to turn the Quote into a reservation so it DOES take up the room availability, click the Book button

Fill in the reservation details and click Confirm Book

Another idea for your Quote process might be to set up a document template to use when you create a new Quote for a guest. The email can provide next steps and explain the conditions that availability is not guaranteed and to call back if they'd like to book room since you have their information ready to go!
