How to create a Reservation with a custom price

In some cases, you could offer special rates to specific guests, as a discount or to honor a previously mentioned price. You can save time by using the Manual Override Rate Plan, which allows you to customize the price for a specific reservation. 

How to Create Custom rate from New Reservations tab or from Tape Chart

Create a Reservation with a Custom Rate via New Reservations :

• Click "New Reservation +"
  
• Select Check In and Check Out date
• sSet the number of Adult/Children
• Click Rate Plans and select Manual Override
  • By default, the price of this Rate Plan is $0.
  • Set the per-night charge in the Rate Amount field. 
• Select Room and Book a Reservation
• Reservation will be created with the Custom rate.

Create a Reservation with a Custom Rate via Tape Chart

• Go to Reservations
• Click Tape Chart
• Select Check-in and Check-out in the top-left corner
• Enter the number of Adults/Children
• Click Rate Plan/Promo and select Manual Override
• Set the per-night charge in the Rate Amount field.
• Click the search icon ?
• Click on any "Available" section in the Tape Chart to assign the room class and room number for this reservation.
