To get started with creating a Packages click on the new button at the page bottom which will take you to the package details page.

Types of Packages:
There are three types of packages in innRoad.

  • Bundle: This package is designed so that the package items are included as part of the rate selected. There is no option to remove / add Components.
  • Add – on: This package is designed so that the guest has the ability to choose the package components they desire to add on to their reservation through the Booking Engine
  • Bundle and Add – on: A combination of 1 and 2, this type allows the guest to add additional package components of the package to the already bundled ones.

Based on the package that you would like to create, fill in the details on the package details page below.

Creating a Package:
Creating a package involves 2 steps.

Creating a Package Rate.

Before creating a package, there must be a rate created in innRoad so the package can be associated to it.
This will be the rate for which the package will be available.
The rate can either be of the type Rooms Only or Reference Only

Note: Rooms only rates can be used as normal rates as well as package rates, however reference only rates have to be used along with a package only.

  • Type in a description for the package component
  • Select a calculation method- this determines the calculation criteria for the component e.g. per adult per stay, per room per stay, per room per interval (most cases interval is one night) etc
  • Enter the amount that the package component will cost the guest
  • Continue to add package components
  • Enter an appropriate display name (this will be seen by the guest on the booking engine)
