innRoad Payments - EMV Set Up

Setting up your innRoad Payments EMV

  1.  Plug the EMV Device in to charge the device.  This plug does NOT need to remain plugged in for the Device to function this is only a charging cord.
  2. Slow press the power button on the right side of the device.  
  3. Connect the Terminal to the SAME wi-fi network that the computer is on that you will be using it with.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.                         Screenshot_2023-02-23_153944.jpg
  4. Once connected, wait for the terminal to display the innRoad logo.  This could take up to one minute.  It may need to run through an update before being ready to go, after that... EMV.jpg
  5. You should be ready to go!

TEST IT

  1. Select an in-house reservation.  
  2. Click TAKE PAYMENT or PAY (depending on what screen you are on),
  3. If the reservation you selected has a ZERO balance add a small charge to the Amount to be charged.
  4. Select the Terminal from the Dropdown.
  5. Click PROCESS

5. A Pop-Up will appear prompting you to tell the guest they can now use their card.

6. Insert, Swipe or Tap the card into the EMV Device and wait for the Payment Successful screen.

If you run into issues at this point it could be due to the set-up of your Wi-Fi - please click here to try a different method of connecting to your Wi-Fi - innRoad EMV - Connect to Wi-Fi

 

**For the test to see if the device is connected and functioning properly, please use Capture.  For future usage you can select SAVE CARD to save the card details for future use and you can also select Authorization Only if your properties procedure is to authorize a guest's credit card.**
