Akia API Integration

Introduction

Akia is a guest messaging system, like Whistle. Properties using Akia can send text messages to their guests automatically, or manually. innRoad’s API integration will sync reservations from innRoad into Akia.

Pre-requisites

• Akia account from Akia
• Akia subscription from innRoad

How to connect innRoad to Akia

1. Log out from your innRoad account.
2. Go to Setup.
3. Click Akia Setup: 
   
4. Click Connect to Akia. 
   
5. Enter your Akia Username and Password: 
   
6. Click Allow to grant innRoad access to send and receive data from Akia: 
   
7. Select the Akia property to send data to.
8. Click Continue.
9. Click Sync Reservations to send all current and future reservations to Akia.

InnRoad is now sending the Guest and Reservation details to Akia. 

The integration will send real-time updates on reservations, including changes to reservation stay details, reservation status, as well as changes to the guest information.
