How are Online Reservations Assigned to Rooms?

Reservations are assigned to rooms differently depending on the source:
 

1. OTA or GDS: Reservation room assignment is based on the order in which the rooms were created in the system and not necessarily the current sort order on innRoad. Based on this order the reservations are assigned based on the available rooms from top down (1st room created, 2nd room, and etc.. ).

Booking Engine: Reservation room assignment is based on the reverse order in which rooms were created in the system in innRoad, so rooms are assigned from the bottom up (last room #, 2nd to last room, and etc.. ).
