Editing Base Rates - Rates V2

Steps to edit your current Base Rates - you know you can do quick updates to individual rooms and dates through the Rates Grid - Rate Override and Rates Grid OverviewIn these directions we are going to review how to edit your Base Rates.

1.  Inventory --> Rates Grid.  Select the rate you want to edit in the drop down and click the edit PENCIL.

2. Once in the rate itself navigate to the Calendar section.

3. In this instance we want to create a new Season within the current season. 

a. Select the start date,

b. then select the end date, all the dates in between will turn a slightly faded color.

c. Name the Season,

d. select the days of the week you want within this season.

e. Click ADD TO SEASON

4.  Set up this seasons rates

a.  Select the color to represent the season on the calendar (this will not reflect anywhere else),

b. Update the rates for the Room Classes.  If you do not have a specific Room Class available for this season you can uncheck that box and exclude that Room Class from this season.

c. You can edit the rules and restrictions per season,

d. you can update policies for this season as well.

e. Click SAVE

5.  If you have charges for additional guests in a room you can expand the view and add those.Expanded.PNG

6. That new season has been created.  You can move on to create others or you can SAVE your changes and be done.

7.  Spot check that your new Seasons rates appear on the Rates Grid and reflect to all your Derived Rates as well.
