Creating Promo/Discount Rate Rates V2

In this example rate we want to show you how to build a Promo/Discount rate.  

We can send the promo code to our guests so they can book online, other than that it will not be publicly listed.

    Please go to the INVENTORY TAB and then RATES GRID

  1. To the right click ADD RATE PLAN and select the DERIVED RATE PLAN option.

In this example we selected Derived because this XX Amount % off rate will be derived from our Rack/Base Rate. (We use 10% off the Rack/Nightly rate)

  1. Fill in the Blanks for the Rate Plan Name (Internally visible to you), Folio Display Name (what is printed on the Guests Folio/Receipt), and Rate Plan Description (this will appear on the Booking Engine)

  2. Click NEXT

  3. Select the RATE this one will be DERIVED from – Typically this will be your RACK RATE.
  1. Enter the AMOUNT - PERCENT/DOLLAR and LESSER THAN/ GREATER THAN

  1. Click NEXT

  2. Select what Dates you want this Derived Rate available. You may select Always Available or Custom Date Range.


 

  1. Click NEXT

  2. Select the Sources/Channels you wish to have access to this Rate. Because this is a Rate with a promo code it is unable to sync to any connected OTA accounts, which essentially leaves your options to innCenter which is you entering the reservation manually or your Booking Engine.

  1. Click NEXT

  2. Select the Room Classes you wish to include in this Special mceclip6.png
  3. Click NEXT

  4. Add your PROMO CODE – you and your Guests will need to use this code to create a reservation using this Special. CAPS to not matter for Promo Codes. mceclip7.png
  5. Click NEXT

  6. Select the Policies you which to attach to the Special. mceclip8.png
  7. Click NEXT

  8. Last Step – REVIEW and SAVE AS ACTIVE – do nottoggle the Default Rate Plan. mceclip9.png
