Managing reservations often means making adjustments, whether due to a change in plans, pricing, or guest details.

How to change Stay Details

Stay details include the assigned room for the reservation, the arrival and departure dates, number of guests (adults / children), and the rate plan to calculate the reservation charges. 

You can also Split a Reservation or make the reservation a multi-room booking.

How to change Assigned Room Number:

• Open the Reservation you want to modify
• Click the pencil icon next to Stay info
•  Select Assign Room Number from the dropdown options:
• You can select a different room within the same room class, without making any changes to the folio.
  
  You'll see the current room status in the dropdown, too:
  • C - Clean
  • I - Inspection
  • D - Dirty
• Click Save to apply your changes.

How to change Arrival and Departure Time:

• Open the Reservation you want to modify
• Click on the pencil next to Stay info
  
• Select Change Arrival/Departure Time from the Dropdown:
  
• The Expected Arrival and Departure time will become editable:
  
• Select the Expected Arrival time for this reservation:
  
• Select the Expected Departure Time.
• You must select both the Arrival and Departure time to save changes.
• Click Save to apply changes.

How to Change Stay details (Change stay dates, adjust number of adults/children, change Rate)

• Open the Reservation you want to modify
• Click the pencil icon next to Stay info
  
• Select Change Stay Details from the dropdown:
  
• You'll see a new section, as well as 3 options that control Rate Calculation:
  
• Rate calculation options:

• Recalculate Rate will completely recalculate the entire reservation charges, based on current rates. 
  This means that if you extend a reservation using this option, the entire reservation price will be adjusted based on current prices, and not just the added day.
  
  This option is ideal when you need to move the whole reservation to a different set of dates, or you'd like to change the rate plan of the reservation. 
• Change Only for Added/Removed dates will recalculate the charges only for the affected dates. This option is ideal when extending or shortening a reservation, since the rates will only change for the modified dates.
• No Rate Change will keep the current room charges, regardless of how you change the reservation stay details.
  
  This option is ideal if you're offering a free room upgrade.
• Change the stay details in the way you'd like, for example:
  • Modify Check-in date
  • Modify Check-out date
  • Change the number of Adults
  • Change the number of Children
  • Change the Rate Plan
  • Select a different Room Class
• Once you've completed the changes, click Find Room to see current availability.
• If the changes you've made trigger a rate change, confirm the new reservation total:
