Reservation History Report

The Reservation History Report is a list of all changes made to reservations within a specific date range. It helps you track each entry or modification made by a user on a given date. 


When to use this report

You can use this report to:

  • Audit reservation changes – Track who made changes, what was changed, and when it happened.

  • Resolve discrepancies – Investigate any inconsistencies or disputes related to reservation details (e.g., dates, guest info, status).

  • Monitor staff activity – Review changes applied to reservations by users in your account. 

  • Ensure compliance – Verify that changes align with company policies or procedures.

  • Track trends or patterns – Identify frequent modifications or errors that may require training or system adjustments.


The Reservation History report shows reservations in your entire account. 

If you want to see reservations for a specific property, select the property in the Property Filter in the top-right corner:


How to configure Reservation History Report:


Step 1: Select date range

Choose a date range that you'd like to review for changes. 


You can use quick filters, or set a custom date range.


Quick filter options:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last Week
  • Last Month
  • Month to Date
  • Year to Ddate



Step 2: Select Inputs


Choose the types of changes you'd like to see in the report's data:


  • Reservation: Details of each reservation.
  • Payment: Details of recorded payments.
  • Folio: Details of each folio.



Step 3: Customize how to sort the data

Choose which column to sort the report by, in ascending order.


Sorting options:

  • Guest Name
  • Reservation Number
  • Change Category
  • Date and Time
  • User





Step 4: Advanced Inputs (Optional)

The Advanced Inputs of the Reservation History report allow you to apply additional filtering to the report's data.


You can filter the data by:

  • Users: All Users or a specific user in your account.
  • Shift Time: Narrow down the time period when changes were made by selecting a start time and end time. The time selection is based on your property's timezone. 


Once you've selected the filters that match your needs, click Run Report to view the results. 


What Data is included in the Reservation History Report

The report provides two viewing options:

  • Summary View – High-level overview of changes made.

  • Detailed View – Comprehensive information on each modification, including timestamps and user actions.


Summary View:

  • Payment: Number of payments made in the selected date range.
  • Folio: Number of folio changes in the selected period.
  • Reservation: Number of reservation changes in the selected period.




Detailed View 

A detailed list of the included categories of changes applied to reservations within the selected date range.
