The Account Balances Report

Created by Alex Savchuk, Modified on Mon, Sep 8 at 8:18 AM by Alex Savchuk

The Account Balances report is an high-level accounting report. It uses data in the various account types of your innRoad client, displaying each account's current balance and indicating a positive (receivable) or negative (payable) state.

The Account Balances report shows a summary of account payments and charges in your entire innRoad client.

Since account data is stored at the client level, it is not possible to filter account balances for a specific property, if you're a multi-property client.

What can I use the Account Balances report for

Use the Account Balances report to:

  • Monitor balances of corporate, house, and gift accounts.
  • Identify outstanding receivables and payables.
  • Track overdue balances by aging periods.

What data can I see in the Report Output

The Account Balances generates a report with 2 main sections:

  • Summary View
  • Detailed View

The Summary View

The Account Balances report Summary is a high-level overview of your Account Balances. It groups the account types you selected as inputs by balance type—Payable, Receivable, or both—and displays the total balance for each account type.

The Detailed View is a list of all included Account types, and their current balance.

If an Account's balance is 0, the report will excludde it from the output.
