Collecting Payment for a Gift Certificate Purchase

In order to collect payment for a Gift Certificate please apply the steps below


***** When collecting Gift Certificate payment for the first time:

Create a Ledger Account called Gift Certificate Sale / Gift Certificate Purchase.

1. Click on Accounts

2. Click on Accounts

3. Click on Account Type drop down

4. Select House Account

5. Click on Search




6. Click on New Account (bottom of the page)

7. Add Account Name ( Example, Name for the person purchasing the gift certificate)

8. Click on Save




9. Click on Folio



10. Click on Add



11.  Add the follwoing

Date
Property,
Category ( Gift Certificate Sale /Purchase) ,
Edit Description (optional)
Amount

12. Click on Commit

13. Click on Save

14. Click on Pay to collect payment
