Assign Rooms to the Block

The block is always created with unassigned rooms by default.
The property sometimes wants guests attending an event to stay in nearby rooms or in a certain area of the facility. 

To ensure that specific rooms are reserved for the block, the rooms are pre-selected using “Select Rooms”

Steps to “Select Rooms” for the block:

1. Go to Reservations > Block List.
2. Search for the block > Click on the block to open it.
3. Click on the “Select Rooms” Button

        4. In the Room# Column, click on the drop-down and select the room for the block.

        5. Repeat the process for each of the rooms in the block.

       6.  Save Changes.

Once rooms are set aside for block:

• The blocked rooms display on the tape chart and can be picked up from there.
• Reservations picked from innRoad and the booking engine are automatically assigned to the pre-selected room.
