The Guest Portal allows guests to complete the check-in steps on their phone or at the property using a tablet. This helps them save time spent filling out paperwork and allows them to customize their stay.
The Guest Portal is an additional feature that can be added to your innRoad subscription. Reach out to our customer success team for more information.
Here is a quick overview of the steps a guest needs to take to complete Pre Check-In. Click on any of the steps to jump to that section of the overview:

Starting the Online Check-In proces
The guest will receive an email or an SMS with a link to complete the check-in or check-out process.
The guest will see a screen confirming their reservation details:
After clicking Start Check-In Process, the portal will show an overview of steps to complete:
Choose Arrival time
Guests can select when they will arrive at the property to check-in. You can also upsell Early Check-ins and allow the guest to arrive earlier than the default check-in time:
Complete Guest Information
Guests will see a page with their reservation details as a reference. They can edit the information if necessary, or provide required information likeID and continue.
If a guest already provided ID documents in the past, the system will show the same documents on file.
Guests can either take a photo of their ID, or upload an image of their ID from their device.
Add custom fields to the Guest Portal to collect more information to make your guest's stay even better. Find out more in the Field Configuration article.
Choose additional items to customize stay
Guests will see a page of Products added to the Guest Portal. At this point, the guest can add additional items to their stay:
Guests select items that they'd liek to add and click Continue to see a confirmation page with all of the added products.
Check-in payment
Guests will see a page with their reservation's total amount, as well as their current balance. They can either pay directly here using their card, or pay at check-in using the Pay with Cash option.
Pay with Cash is an optional setting. You can disable it in the Guest Portal settings.
If a card is already on file, the guest can use that card to process payment.
SIgning Documents
Afterprocessing payment, guests will need to sign the documents you selected to display in the Guest Portal. Each document shown will need to have a Signature field added, so the system can store the signature correctly.
Guests will need to repeat this step, until they sign all required documents. The Signature button is disabled until the guest scrolls to the bottom of the document, indicating they have read it.
Confirmation page
After providing all details required to check-in, theguest will see a confirmation page with the details of their reservation:
